HUMAN (Hacettepe University Micro-Analysis Network) Research Centre is pleased to organise and host “Social Interaction and Applied Linguistics International Postgraduate Conference” in Ankara, Turkey. The event will be held at Hacettepe University Beytepe Campus on the 8th of September, 2015. The conference will be preceded by methodology workshops, to be held on the 7th of September, for postgraduate students who are particularly interested in micro-analytic research methodologies including Conversation Analysis and Membership Categorisation Analysis. The first data session of the semester will be organised by Hajar Golmohammadzadeh Khiaban (MA student, Hacettepe University) on the 19th of February, Thursday, 15:00. The session will be held in the meeting room of the department of foreign language education (Faculty of Education (B), 3rd floor) at Hacettepe University, Beytepe Campus. Hajar will bring a short extract from the recordings of interactions in HUMAN data sessions, mainly focusing on (dis)agreement sequences in L2 talk.

Die erste Datensitzung im neuen Semester, die von Hajar Golmohammadzadeh Kiaban (MA-Student an der Hacettepe Universität) organisiert wird, wird am 19.02., Donnerstag, um 15.00 stattfinden. Die Sitzung wird im Sitzungssaal der Abteilung für Fremdsprachenlehrerausbildung (Pädagogische Fakultät, B-Block, 3. Stock) an der Hacettepe Universität im Beytepe Campus abgehalten werden. Hajar wird uns einen kurzen und kompakten Auszug aus den aufgezeichneten Interaktionen in HUMAN-Datensitzungen vorstellen mit dem Schwerpunkt auf die Gesprächsequenzen der Affirmation/Negation in L2.
